After a morning in Glasgow, the time for our flight to London arrived, so we took the GlasgowFlyer back to the Glasgow airport. Since we already had tickets, and no check in, we just went through security and waited. There is a place to eat a light lunch in the airport. A day trip to Edinburgh turned out a bit better than my mix up on airports. The reason this time was easier was simply because going to Edinburgh from Stirling only requires a train ride. The train station in Stirling is not very crowded and there are plenty of seats on the train. I had read that Edinburgh is a big tourist attraction, so my wife and I got started early in the morning. The problem was, when I arrived at six in the morning for the flight, I found I was at the wrong airport. Ryanair Flies out of another airport called Glasgow Airport (Prestwick), Click to read more about my adventure and how you can avoid my mistake and benefit with a nice morning in Glasgow. |
